Group Volunteer Trips for Clubs

Overview

Projects Abroad volunteers pose for a photo in their Santa hats on a group trip to Jamaica

With Projects Abroad’s custom group trips, we can work with community service clubs and other club groups to arrange a volunteer abroad program to fit your goals and interests.

No matter your club, we can work with you. In the past we have worked with groups of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to volunteer on childcare projects helping local children abroad, and agricultural groups to help with sustainable community farming initiatives abroad.

High school groups have created volunteer abroad clubs at their schools to plan a trip together. As a club you can fundraise together to pool your time and resources.

Break Away Partnership

Projects Abroad is an approved Intermediary Organization with Break Away, the national alternative breaks organization for university students interested in service trips. Break Away students and faculty can work with Projects Abroad to plan a group volunteer trip over spring break or any other time of year.

We have projects suitable for all sorts of clubs. Community service clubs can help support children and communities abroad on a Care or Building project. Clubs who focus on environmental issues and want to help project threatened ecosystems and wildlife first-hand can join one of our Conservation & Environment projects. Music, arts, and drama groups can volunteer abroad together on a Creative & Performing Arts project.

“One of my main hopes when putting the trip together was to be able to spend time with the Girl Scouts in Cambodia. This was a real opportunity for the girls to understand more about life as a teenage girl in Cambodia and it was a great day! When the girls were all introduced to each other they were soon chatting away, discovering the differences as well as the similarities in their lives.
The girls had not only survived the two weeks but flourished! They had all grown in confidence at what they were able to achieve, had seen more of the world and were discussing what their next adventures might be and I was over the moon! I really value what travel and experiencing a new culture can bring to life and hope that they have all caught the travel bug.”
