Custom High School Group Service Trips

Types of Groups
High School Groups

A group of high school students volunteering together as a group in Cape Town, South Africa

Groups of high school students and teachers from the same school or community can all volunteer abroad together with Projects Abroad. We can also tailor trips for high school sports teams and community service clubs.

In the past, high school groups have traveled with Projects Abroad on a variety of service projects during summer, spring, and winter breaks. Our staff can arrange all aspects of the trip, from accommodation and daily transportation to weekend trips and cultural activities. We also provide high school groups with supervisors plus 24/7 support in the destination country.

If you do not have an established group and instead are an individual student looking to join a group of other students from around the world, please visits our High School Specials section.

Planning a volunteer trip for a group of high school students

High school groups interested in a custom group trip should look at our High School Special programs to get a sense of what a group service trip for high school students can look like. We can tailor any of these programs to fit the schedule and preferences of high school groups. Care & Community and Medicine & Healthcare projects are the most frequent choices.

If we do not currently offer a High School Special program in the project or destination your school is interested in, don’t worry! We can instead tailor our Standard Volunteer Abroad and Intern Abroad projects for younger groups as well, offering the same high level of support recommended for our high school volunteers.
