Projects Abroad offers worthwhile volunteer opportunities in Argentina for students who enjoy the outdoors and working with animals. Volunteers work at an animal sanctuary that focuses on the care of a wide variety of animals that have been brought to the center because of injuries or elimination of their natural habitat.

Wildlife on the site of an Animal Care project for High School Students in Argentina

This project is based in Villa Rumipal (about 100km away from Cordoba). Here, you will help feed and care for the animals and have the chance to observe how some of the wilder animals are treated. You will also help with maintenance work at the center, which is greatly appreciated by the local staff.

The program includes recreational activities in the evenings and on the weekends such as trips to the surrounding hills, a bonfire, or a games night. Volunteers will be accommodated in a hostel at the sanctuary, in same-gender dorms with good facilities, including Internet access.
