Samoan Language Course in Samoa
A Projects Abroad intensive Samoan Language course gives you the chance to learn a new language and fully immerse yourself in a fascinating and traditional culture. While English is the official language of Samoa, the local Samoan language is the most widely spoken among locals.
To learn a local language while living in a foreign country is a fulfilling experience and a good understanding of Samoan will enable you to make the most out your time in Samoa. You can take part in an intensive course, which lasts from two weeks upwards. Lessons are with a local language teacher and are tailored to your personal level and can be adapted to your interests. With accommodation in the home of a Samoan family, you'll learn quickly and can practice what you've learnt with your hosts each day.
Alternatively, volunteers and interns doing projects in Samoa can undertake a short 5-hour, 14-hour, or 30-hour course in Samoan alongside their project. If you are volunteering in Samoa for at least twelve weeks you could complete a 60-hour Samoan language course alongside your volunteer placement. These prices are in addition to your main project price.
