Volunteering Abroad for Skilled Professionals
Projects Abroad Pro is an arm of Projects Abroad designed to encourage graduates, professionals on a career break, and retirees to take part in volunteer work in developing countries. We are looking for people with a skill or qualification who want to make a difference by using their knowledge and experience to help some of the poorest communities around the world.
Our goal has always been to look forward and seek ways to improve the work we do overseas. After evaluating input from previous volunteers and the local people involved in our projects, we decided the best way to achieve this aim is to actively recruit skilled and experienced individuals.
We are still determined to make use of the qualities provided by Projects Abroad volunteers such as their dedication, passion and enthusiasm for helping the less fortunate. However, Projects Abroad Pro will target individuals with specific skills, qualifications and experience. We offer projects in Business, Culture & Media, Education, Engineering, Environment, Human Rights, Medicine, and Social Work. A range of qualifications and skills can be put to use in these projects and we will work with you to ensure you’re placed where your abilities can have the greatest impact.
