CAS Trips for IB Students

Overview

Creativity, Action & Service

Projects Abroad is experienced in planning Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) programs for groups of International Baccalaureate Diploma Program students. We understand that the CAS concepts are essential to the IB education and make sure our volunteer abroad programs include all three strands. In fact, our own tagline “Help…Learn…Explore!” embodies these same concepts!

A custom group trip will allow students to complete their CAS requirements through immersing themselves into a different culture and making a sustainable impact on communities abroad.

Creativity, Action & Service Trips for High School Students

We have permanent offices and a dedicated team of staff in all our destinations. Wherever you choose to join us, we will work with CAS supervisors to organize a service learning program that suits the needs of the students and the school.

Our staff work hard to ensure students are in safe hands and maximize their experience. On a high school group service trip, we will have an assigned staff supervisor to support the students throughout the trip, helping them with reflection on outcomes and personal learning.

“Projects Abroad is an embodiment of professionalism and excellent organizational skills. My main goal was to achieve all the CAS learning outcomes by students participating in a range of activities that cover the 3 strands of CAS. Projects Abroad had activities planned and organized in an excellent time frame which enabled the students to achieve these goals. CIS hopes to do many more group trips with Projects Abroad”

Care & Community in Thailand

Individual students who want to meet their CAS requirements abroad on their own instead of with a school group can participate in one of our High School Special programs, which also embrace the CAS concepts.
