Volunteering at a Care placement in Mongolia is a great way for you to do something different this summer and make an impact on the lives of children. For two weeks, you and other volunteers your own age will spend time working with local children in the city of Ulaanbaatar.
While working in one of the local orphanages or care centers, your time will be spent organizing and running practical activities for children and teenagers aged from 2 to 15 years old. These activities could include basic and fun English lessons, games, and sports. You will also contribute to the general care of the younger children.
On the weekend, you will be taken to Terelj National Park where you will be able to see wild horses and ride a camel. You will also get to experience a traditional Mongolian barbecue, which is a fantastic opportunity to socialize with the other volunteers and local staff.
