Volunteer in China with Projects Abroad and help make a difference in one of the most rapidly developing countries in the world. You’ll contribute to ongoing work that supports the development of under-resourced communities.

If you book and travel to any project in China with a start date on or before 31st August 2020, you'll receive a 10% discount. Please note that currently only Chinese nationals are able to enter China. We hope this will change soon and we’ll update this advice immediately. Contact us for more information.

You can teach English to children at rural schools, or help care for the elderly or those with physical disabilities. Or, learn about professional business by working at a local and international companies. You can even travel to china to learn Mandarin.

You’ll be based in Shanghai with full-time staff who are available 24/7 to help with anything you need.

There is plenty to see and do in these urban jungles. You can visit Buddhist temples and the beautiful city parks, watch an opera, and try delicious Chinese street food at a local market. No trip will be complete without a visit to the Great Wall of China.
