Learn French in Madagascar
Joining Projects Abroad on the French Language Course in Madagascar is a chance for you to improve your language skills and learn about a different culture. The course is based in Andasibe, a small town that is ideal for anyone looking to immerse themselves completely in a French-language environment.
If you choose to take French as a stand-alone language course in Madagascar, you will receive 15 hours of personal classes per week and live with a French speaking local family. You will be able to use the language every day and your skills will rapidly improve as you become part of the local community.
You can also choose to study French alongside your volunteer placement. Our 5-hour, 14-hour, or 30-hour French language courses can be done during your project in Madagascar. If you are planning on volunteering abroad for twelve weeks or more, you could also complete a 60-hour course alongside your placement. For more information please visit our Language Add-ons page.
