Peter Slowe is the founder and Director of Projects Abroad, a leading global volunteer placement organization. Born March 9, 1953 in England, he is an accomplished, well-travelled academic, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Bristol, and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Oxford (Jesus and Nuffield Colleges).

Thomas Pastorius, Jr. has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Princeton University. In 2003 he was awarded a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship by the German government for a research year in Germany focusing on Nietzsche and Philosophy of Language. Pastorius is currently enrolled in New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he is pursuing his MBA degree while continuing to serve as Vice President of Projects Abroad, leading the North American and Asian divisions to new heights.
