Staff member receives his Archaeology degree with the help of Projects Abroad
With continuous help and support from Projects Abroad over the last six years, Jhon Valencia Cordoba received his professional qualification and became a licensed archaeologist in Peru.
Jhon is based at the Inca Project in Peru and has spent a lot of time investigating the ruins in the Lucumayo Valley with many Projects Abroad volunteers. After his thesis was marked as a success, Jhon received his degree in Archaeology and told Projects Abroad founder, Peter Slowe, that "Without the help of your organization this would all have been impossible".
Jhon also told us, "Over the years I have met hundreds of volunteers and I have spent many evenings in the volunteer house, Establo, with them. They are all wonderful people who have played a role in me getting my degree."
Jhon was congratulated by Peter Slowe and is looking forward to progressing in his archaeology career with Projects Abroad.
