Combine Volunteer or Intern Projects Abroad
Have the best of both worlds! You can combine as many placements within a country as you wish. All we ask is that you spend a minimum of one month on each project. Of course, the longer you stay on each placement the more you'll get out of it.
You won’t pay for the program fee twice, either. You pay the program fee for the most expensive project and then the additional month fees as appropriate.
For example:
Teach English in Guadalajara and then join our conservation placement on the beach in Mexico
- Teaching - 2 months in Guadalajara
- Then Turtle Conservation - 2 months on the Pacific coast
Turtle conservation is the most expensive -
up to three months @ $4,595
You'll be staying for 4 months so you pay for one more month -
extra month @ $1,145
Total: $ 5,740
Combine Volunteer or Internship Destinations
You can combine any of our destinations. Some volunteers go to two countries - a few go to four or five! When you sign up for two or more project countries you will get 10% off each program fee*.
Most of our placements fit well onto a round-the-world ticket, or are linked by some of the best train and overland journeys in the world! Projects Abroad travel team will send you a flight itinerary after you sign up, which you can choose to accept. Whether or not you book your flights through us, we’ll meet you at the airport.
Individualized Volunteer and Internship Combinations
For the ultimate experience, let us arrange a variety of experiences in multiple countries. Examples of combinations, which could take you a year or more, include:
- Thailand – Teaching followed by a holiday on the islands
- Fly to India – Journalism and conservation
- Fly to South Africa – Care project
Or
- Peru - Inca projects in the Andes, then move to our Rainforest project
- Travel down through South America to Brazil to Teach and then to Argentina for a medical project.
